About As the name of my shop states, I am a Mama first and I think like
one. I strive to make items that are beautiful, functional, and easy
to care for. I have been sewing for 25 years and it as always
brought me joy. Whether it was clothes for my kids when they were
little, curtains for friends for their new homes or just about
anything that anyone needed.After having my third child, I started designing quilted bags. Mostly, because I like giving "the perfect gift" and could not find what I was looking for in the ready made market. I gave them out to friends, family and even teachers. All of a sudden, everyone was telling me that I should sell them! With the support of my family and friends, I started my own business a little over two years ago. Most of my business is custom orders, I enjoy helping my customers discover their own style and making something specifically for them. EVERY item that I make can be washed in cold water in the washing machine and dried in the dryer on low heat. I used to be an east coast girl from Pittsburgh, PA, but moved to Denver, CO a year ago with my husband, Steve, of 17 years and our three kids, Elizabeth, Matt and Sam. Being able to do what I love as a business and staying home with my kids is a true blessing for me. |
